I know it's been asked before, but after trying 5 different searches, I give up.
What's a good 4 wheel alignment shop for a lowered C5?
Preferably as close to Nashville as possible.
TIA
Will gateway, on Cool Springs Blvd, in Franklin do a lowered vette? They have aligned mine a few times, and have done a great job. Not sure if they will do a lowered vette. Call 'em and ask, and bring your own 2x6s.
Try giving Alex Hendry a call at (615) 228-6315. He's at 1107 Straightway Avenue- It's right across the street from Nashville Auto Diesel College on Gallatin Rd. in Nashville. He's been down there for about 30 years and does a lot of custom and race car work. I built a Cobra kit car a while back and he was the only one in town who would touch it. (It had coil-overs and fully adjustable control arms front and rear.) I had the car out at VIR raceway at speed a few weeks later and it was right on the money.
He also had Tyrone Calico's old Caddy in the shop when I was there - putting 20's on it and lowering it. There was another old Caddy there getting the same treatment, I think it belonged to one of the local rappers from G-Unit. Not really my cup of tea, but you do have to know your stuff to set up those cars so the suspension works properly after being lowered and with the big wheels.
I'll warn you though that his shop doesn't look like much, but he and his guys know their stuff. He's got an 'old school' alignment pit, so it won't matter how low your Vette is. He was very reasonable too.
I use NTB in Rivergate Mall. They have a couple good mech. that do the alignments and always work with me. I had him set up the ZO6 a couple weks ago before the track day at Road Atlanta.
