Does any1 know of any shop/corvette forum member that can install my FLP headers in my car for a reasonable price??
I called a few Shops but the labor is too high for a bolt on install since there is no welding required, just dont make sence. I am not cheap but dont like to be RIPPED
ANy1 wants to make a few bucks? I dont mind if some1 wants to install them in their GARAGE as long as I dont have to pay SHOP LABOR I AM GAME and willing to help
Depending on which header you install, most likely you will have to jack up the motor, and unhook lots of things to get them in.
$400 is a good price IMHO.
I'm looking at headers too, and will do the install myself, but after reading on how much of a PITA it is, I'm waffling.....
FLPs go on pretty easy.. but like most said.. easy is relative..
you have to pull the coil packs, left side valve cover.. loosen the steering knuckle.. loosen misc parts... and do a lot of trying different angles to wedge them in..
oh and buy some extra spark plugs.. youll probably crack one or two.

I will pay 350$ if some1 wants to do it for me in their garage willing to drive up to 50 miles
I suggest you host a MOD DAY at your place, invite some of the forum members to come over and help install them.
Heck, if it's Vette related, people will help you out.
I suggest you put food and beer in the title line to attract attention.
I'd probably drive up to help out.
I'd drive up with Mike to help you out. If I can install a 4.10 rear, fuel injectors, and a water injection system, I can handle a set of headers.
I paid A&A almost 6G for H/C and LGs but the header install was free .
I volunteer Mike's garage in Mt. Helix (San Diego) .
BTW MUKAKsC5, I sent you a few emails & PMs ref. the Torco but you never replied. I sold it to a local guy.
