I don't live on the rock.
But my wife is from the Kaimuki area.
I always miss the plate lunches and poki....

Where are you on the mainland ?

Aloha Braddahs!

My husband was surfing this form and came across you guys. He is the proud owner of a vette and I'm just the part-time driver. I'm from Kahuku and we now live in Martinez, CA.

I would have recommended anyone who visits Hawaii to eat at the lunch wagon by fisherman's wharf but they closed down a year ago. Since you guys are talking dessert...you might want to try out the cream puffs at Liliha Bakery and anything else there if you have a true sweet tooth at all. Custard from Hawaii is awesome and unless you make your own no where else can compete.

Better stop for now...just wanted to add my two cents! Gotta pack for our trip back home and we'll be thinking of you when we stop at Leonard's.

Mahalo...Sista Jay
