CA Emissions, how stringent?
I have a 90 that recently passed NC emissions (may 05). It appears to have all emissions components in place...
So, how much difficulty should this be to get registered in California?

An out of state car will require a visual inspection at a DMV office. It will need a federal emissions sticker and no non-CARB-approved parts visible. Long tune headers are an automatic flunk.

interestingly, when I brought my 92 in, all I had to was get a visual at the smog station. it passed the sniffer with flying colours and all is well.
in 1990, the only difference between CA and 49 is an extra test at the end of the assembly line.
