Nice change for 30 minutes work. Sorry, don't know anything about that shop, but this would be a good DIY project for you to try with a local vette guy watching over you. Sorry you aren't in the L.A. area or I would be happy to help you (as I have with others, and as others did for me many years ago)
I bought my very first vette from Dave. He is a nice enough guy, but I found him to be a bit pricey. Haven't had service from him in about ten or eleven years. Check out the shop and see if you are comfortable with it.
Great service here he had the car done when promised he didnt try to shoe me away when i went in the garage to check things out and came into the waiting room to get me for the test drive. He charged me 130.00 I realize a DIY would have been cheaper but I have zero tools zero knowledge of how to do it and I know zero people. Plus I am taking the car on a trip to grand canyon tommorrow and wanted to just get it done. I would recomend this shop he had a lot of c3 and c4 cars there also.
Honest...has very good mechanic named Kenny....prices fair IMO...I have two C3's...one Dave has serviced for over 25 years...he has been in Corvette business 29 years now...14 years at present location..

Next time post up and ask for help. Don't be shy...there are plenty of us who will be glad to assist. I live in North County and I...have...tools.
It's the only way you're gonna' learn.
Hey guys, I am in Carlsbad. Any shops other than down in El Cajon?
I have a headlight about to go, it likes to run after I open and close.
I like to tinker a bit, I have heard the headlight is simple? Actually bought the three little spacers to replace. Just haven had the ***** to take it apart!
