Default Good Stuff =)

Once again this forum saved me what I like to think as some time and money. One of the four backlights in my digi dash went out in my 88 and Coast Corvette in Anaheim said they can get all four replaced for a little over a hundred Sweet!

I know I know I could do it myself but I'd rather not just start taking sh*t apart inside just yet as I don't really have the time to figure it out and don't want to start breakin stuff.

Did this several times when I had my '88. As simple as changing a light bulb in a living room lamp.

But......if they all went out at the same time, you may have other problems.

Good luck!

No just one went out.... Ok, now I'm having second thoughts.... Grrrrr, maybe I should just try and figure it out!

Go to the C4 Tech or General forum and ask......you'll get details, I'm sure. Very common fix. You have to remove to dash fascia, about 6 screws. The hard part is finding the bulbs. For some reason, they're scarce and not cheap.

That's probably reasonable, if you just don't want to mess with it. If I remember correctly, the halogen bulbs are about $5-6 each for some reason.

I'd replace them all if I were you. The others are about to go out too.
$50 is sounding good, eh?

Good luck
