Calling all Washington State Corvettes for the last drag race get together for this year. This is SIR (Seattle International Raceway) final season. So lets burn some rubber and meet at the entrance to SIR at 10:00 AM, Sunday September 30th. Last time we had Corellian Corvette, Quickaugz, MasterDave and myself, vettedan showed up. Rockn-Roll plan on making but had clutch problems. It was a great time. I was crazy enough last time to challenge a Z06, so let do it! The cost is $25.00 for your tech card, you supply the rubber. It will be a great time. Let me know if you can make it.

Put me down as tentative. I'd love to get the old stingray out there and see what she can do. Also got my GTECH/pro and would like to make some runs and see how good it works.

I know this has nothin to do with draggin, but are there any track days coming up at SIR? Please let me know I have never driven up there and would really like to. Thanks :cheers:

There are several track days - go to Proformance driving school's website and check their schedule.

I'll be heading to SIR today. I thought they were closed for the season, if they aren't I'm racing <g>.

Hi Vettedan,
I think I met you at one of the car shows. Are you the LT4 wannabe with the red paint added on to your LT1. (Does the paint make it go faster). Anyway I was out there last time at SIR with the Marque club and will try to make this last big hurrah. Hope my clutch holds out. See you there.

Dvetteguy96- Yes, its me !, It didn’t make sense to spend the money to actually convert the LT1 to LT4 when I would only gain 30 hp. I probably gained that much hp with removing the cats, pumps, etc. When I install the 3.70 gear, I imagine the LT4 boys will be staring at my tail pipes. See you out there.

I'll try to make it; sounds like fun. Now all I gotta do is decide which car to bring...the ZR-1 or the '55 Bel Air. The Bel Air is more fun at the strip (MUCH more predictable and much better traction) but then again, the ZR-1 is such a great challenge and so much fun to try to get to hook up...

Change of Time! Who ever is going to SIR tomorrow Sept 30th. The consensus is to meet at 8:00 AM. So I'll see everyone by 8:00 AM.
