Just stumbled across information regarding Military Car Shows (www.thecarsarecoming.com) ,the benefits are used to support military family relief programs.
This is obviously not a new program, as it had photos from shows held at Camp Pendleton, called "The Power Run Shows" held in 2004 & 2005, but it is new to me. Have any members attended such a show before, and how did you like it?
There is a show coming up at Miramar (San Diego) on June 17, 2007 and I was wondering if anyone had ever been to this show before?

Was at Pendleton in 2005 and Miramar last year..fun show...good cause...great cars...

Is there a static display of military vehicles and aircraft in conjunction with the car show??

Not necessarily....for example,at Miramar,most aircraft on display are along Miramar road...but the show is several blocks inside the base.....

At Pendelton,the show was at the commissary just inside main gate....

We've been to the Pendelton show also. Nice show and helps support our troops. It's a little bit of a drive for a car show, but you see a lot of different vehicles.

You might want to also check out Wings, Wheels, and Rotors at the Los Alamitos Airbase in late October. I believe you can have a picture of your car taken by either prop or jet aircraft. I've never been to the show, but I plan to make it this year.

Glad to see they are still doing the shows. The one scheduled for Jan 07 at Twentynine Palms was cancelled because of lack of sponsore I think. HooRah!
