CODE: C1282 .. Serious ????
Was driving along and thought my engine or tranny locked up. But I guess it was my traction control system. Got DIC warning to service traction control. And got this code. I cleared it and it didn't come back
It is YAW CONTROL BIAS SYSTEM FAILURE
Does anyone know what I should expect??
If it goes out can I just turn TC off or am I gonna get stuck????

Memory serves, it will eventually shut off all the trick electronic crap, but for a couple seconds . . yeah, the EBCM will probably freak out.
Mike's right though, it can come on some times, but will usually clear itself -- if it doesn't, then it's potentially a bigger issue.

I got a track event coming up ..... I hope this doesn't cause any ugly situations!!!! It really scared me and I was only going about 45mph. If this happens at WSIR I could be in big trouble!!!
