grandpa's have to know these things for their grandkids...........when we were growin' up the space program was a big deal..and of course dreaming of owning a corvette too.....

We could actually see it. Pretty cool. I tried to take a pic but no dice with my camera.

It was probably about 6:45 when we started and full eclipse was supposed to be somewhere around 7...

We saw it tonite - I was so proud of my kid (he's 4) - we didn't point it out to him and he found it in the sky on his own when it was reddish. He said "that's Mercury".
