Hey Bob, I'll be breaking ground on my new restaurant in Ridgecrest about that time. I doubt I can get it together by then. If someone wants to take the lead, feel free. Don Schenk put it together last year. If my car is out of the body shop by then and I can get away for a few days, I may give it a try. I could help if someone wanted to spearhead it though.

Hi Bob,
As fun as it is getting all the Vettes together, affairs of state have taken precedence over affairs of state and time is limited for me this year, so unless someone else wants to step up for a turn in the barrel, so to speak , we may have to wait for next year, or maybe later in the fall.
I'm definitely going be having cheeseburger withdrawals if I don't get up to the deli soon.

There is however a really nice run to Reno coming up in June. We're taking 395 up, stopping in Lone Pine for breakfast, then a beautiful drive up.

There's a thread somewhere in that section, but here's a direct link: www.corvettecruzin.com

Wow, news travels faster than Tommy and I through Mojave...
It's a good deal on a sweet DSOM Z06 in beautiful condition, but I think I would miss my convertible too much. Tracy offered to sell her El Camino, but that didn't seem right either. The Z06 is still a thought bouncing around in my head, but I don't think it will happen at this time.

Ah HAH! You never said anything on selling the Elkie! Definately don't do that! That is one sweet hunk of iron. Even with the clothes pins on the fuel lines.

Just working on ways to fit the car in, physically & financially. No, I already told Tracy the Elky isn't going. I might go by and visit the Z06 this weekend.
