Melting Slicks
Way to go Lakers. Undefeated in the Playoff at home. Playing a team who many questioned on the road. 24 point lead. NBA Finals.
Defense, Defense, Defense. Oh well, always next year.

That was tough to watch. It looked so promising in the beginning and then they lost their rhythm. Is Jackson getting out-coached? I'm so upset right now. That's alright, it will mean more when the Lakers win the next 3 games

I'm one of the biggest laker fans but what the f*ck were the lakers doing out there in the second half. HELLO, driving to the bucket got you that massive lead, why would you just start settling for 3's and long 2 pt jumpers? The lakers are idiots and I don't blame the Celtics for winning, they just took advantage of the stupid idiot Lakers beating themselves. Here's an idea, how about continuing to attack and go with what got you the lead. I hope they (lakers) lose on Sunday, that way they can be embarrassed and maybe, just maybe realize that they should have seized the opportunity they had in game 4.
Now let me tell you how I really feel

This was the Laker's chance to turn this series around. What an unbeleivable choke.
I have to give it to the Celts now.

And to think that the majority of the press and fans give Boston no chance. The East may not have as many good teams as the West, but the Beast of the East is still better than the Best of the West. I was hurting a little bit since I like both teams, but I'm happy by the end. Go Green!!!! This meltdown is the biggest that I can recall, unless Boston loses the series. But that ain't gonna happen, sorry the Lakeshow is over. I hope LA wins on Sunday so Boston can close out at home.

Damn, I can't believe the collapse! Can we play just a little defense? Can we run our offense? I agree with everyone - I'm really pissed off!!! The Lakers' play for the last 3 quarters gave me a terrible headache(outscored by 27 pts.). After tonight, I might not even watch Sunday's game. I'll watch the US Open and enjoy my Father's Day.

I was upset the most with Kobe and Phil Jackson. I'm as old as Kobe and have been playing I'm sure just as long as he has (except I don't get paid what he gets paid for playing ) and it just amazed me that he and Phil Jackson (the leaders of the team with the most experience) wouldn't tell everyone else to stop shooting outside shots and instead drive the ball and force the refs to call fouls or get easy layups. Yesterday was a perfect example of a team beating themselves and I hope we're able to get something for Lamar Odom when he leaves this offseason because I seriously doubt he'll be back next year.
I am, however, looking forward to seeing how well we mesh with Gasol and Bynum in the starting lineup. Now all we need are a couple of shooters to replace Odom and Rad so that Gasol and Bynum have someone to kick it out to. That will be fun.

I am so sad... it's hard to work right now.
I am a huge Laker fan, but I have to say that the Lakeshow does not deserve to win after seeing that horrific meltdown last night. so sad =(
I hope they can still play like the first half of last game for the next 3 games. Even thought it's a long shot, I still have some faith left. can't wait till sunday.

Calvin, there's a better chance of your dad selling his Ferrari to me for $20k than the Lakers winning 3 games against Boston (with two AT Boston).
