Default Spring Mtn

Beer Pockets and I are off to Spring Mtn. for Part II. Theodore wants more of my tailights in his windshield.

I'm going to concentrate on turn 8 again, and try not to enhance my off road skills anymore than I have.

Being from the South a right hand turn is an unatural act!!!!
Mayabe I should bring my "Mason Jar" with me!!!

There was no need for a clean-up after 8Ball's excursion. Just had to wait for the dust cloud to dissipate. Straight off, almost all the way to the fence. Quick change from an aggresive driving style to a defensive style.

Well I'm jealous.. You guys get to have all that fun driving around in high performance vettes. While the rest of us have to stay home and work.

Ask them if they are going to have a summer discount special like last year. Thanks

I know Roger and I are definetly up for a Varmit track GTG. We just need to figure out where and when. I totally think that would be a blast. I think with the hotter summer months coming up, we'll have plenty of time to pick a nice Fall day so we can get as many Varmit's there as possible.

I get e-mail notices from a couple event organizers on dates so I will keep us posted. I think Willow Springs will be the likely course as it's the closest.

It is completely different. And a whole lot more fun.

I keep my race car in Nevada. But I will dust off the C6 and come out with all you guys for a track event.

Willow is closer, but Spring Mountain is a heck of alot nicer and only an extra hour and a half of driving. It is world class. Beautiful scenery, clean track, nice facilities. A good one to shoot for in the fall would be Corvette Track days.

That may be true but then you need to add overnight stays and it becomes more than just "A" track day. We can do a mid-week track day at Willow for $145 with a 2 1/2 hour drive on each end of the day and only spend money for gas. Not that I'm opposed to Corvette Track Days at SM. I did that last year. But it's really a whole different deal. I'm trying to just get a few of our local guys to go to the track for a day. I quit being a track ***** last year because I was being way too hard on my car and can't afford a dedicated track car. This is just to go and have some.

Here is some vid from Audi days at Spring. Get the mood going.

Too tall is filming. I am in the red/black #22 car.
