Great info Mike!! I've used the written dec many times. It works very well most of the time, and if you happen to lose, you can still go to regular court on it, then take traffic school before the trial starts if you cop shows up.
I doubt anyone will be thanking you for not answering the OP's question and instead making a febile attempt to be cute. Using your idea and taking it to it's logical conclusion, why not sell your car and take the bus? No more tickets and no more fun.
See below for serious answer.

I like your idea too. The only things I would add is that (1) you aren't paying the fine but posting bail which is refunded once you win, (I'm 9for 10 on written declarations). (2) Before doing anything else, go online and ask for a continuance. They are always granted one time for 60 days. This moves the date of the occurance further away making it harder for the officer to recall anything and hopefully a lot less interested than he was when he/she wrote you the ticket. (3) Everything can be done online at www.lasuperiorcourt.org. (4) Try using ticketassasin.com. You will find that site very helpful the whole way through the written declaration process.
Good luck

at 22 MPH over, do you really have an excuse or alibi ? It is not like you were a little over. I could see if you were 5 MPH or confused on the Speed Limit on a certain street, but 77, when the max is 70 MPH only on an open freeway
Here's an idea, how about taking responsibility for your actions?
Were you doing 22mph over the limit? If so, then pay the fine or go to traffic school!
Writing letters in hopes of the officer not responding is chicken s!*t!

Reread the OP. He said the ticket was for 77 not that he was going 77.

What you don't know is that after your drive off, he is writing his notes on the back of his copy of the ticket. He brings that to court with him. Bottom line if you get caught man up and pay the fine, otherwise don't whine!!
Hey Tris, sorry to hear that those b@stards got ya..haven't used that particular service that your original post was asking about, but have done trial by declaration and was successful in being found not guilty...also once I read some of the no life responses, I wanted to chime in.
For those saying that it's chicken sh*t or to man up and don't whine, maybe you should stop, go back and read the original thread. Not once is he complaining about anything. THe op started a thread asking about a particular service, if you have nothing of importance to contribute to the thread that is even a close attempt in answering the original question, why post? Your just making yourself look like an ignorant loser with nothing else better to do than post where your post doesn't contribute to anything other than your worthless post count. Geez, everytime I come back to this forum, I read something that reminds me why I rarely visit this site anymore

maybe you should do the same. I wasn't knocking him.
Explain how your post helped or answered the original question about the service he's asking about? That's right, it doesn't. You weren't knocking him? "If you get caught, man up and pay the fine, otherwise don't whine!"...being delusional again huh or is it old age that's kicking in?

If you would slow down, I WAS NOT RESPONDING TO THE ORIGINAL post!

Delusional???
He wasn't asking how to avoid getting a speeding ticket; but asking if a particular service for beating tickets was worthwhile. So follow your own advise; man up; admit you're wrong.
I got a speeding ticket for 77 in a 55 zone . Thinking of using Ticket
Busters . Has anyone used this service or one like it befor ?
Thanks
I have used Mr. Ticket in San Diego. Results were great, I got a ticket for 96 in a 65. Court sent me a $600 bail/fine. Already had driving school within 18 months, so no driving school. The lawyers there took $100, got the fine reduced to $100 plus some change, and I got to go to driving school to keep the points off. Altogether cost me under $300 and no points. This is all this Firm does, traffic violations. They may be able to recommend a local to you. NEVER deal with a court without a lawyer!
