Default Steve Doten HUD Install in So Cal

I am trying to get Steve out to So Cal to do his famous HUD install. Need a minimum of five paying owners. Cost is $695 parts and labor. Steve provides the kit, including custon wiring harness. I posted in the C6 General Discussion as well. It would be on a weekend at my house in Woodland Hills 91367. If interested, please post on this thread. John

I may be interested, a few questions:

- I have an HUD Windshield with no HUD so I assume that is a +

- How long does it take to install the kit, can I wait ? Will it be done in a garage (hot in Woodland Hills in July) ?

- Is it all GM parts and not will effect any other components / warranty

- Sounds like $695 is all in (including dash buttons, etc), can I pay via Pay Pal / Credit Card

Keep me posted, I am local in Thousand Oaks area

I have asked Steve to answer some of these questions. The work would be done outdoors at my house. I will put up a canopy to provide cover during the install.

1. GM HUD projector, GM switch, GM bezel trim, I supply the harness made by aerospace spec supplier

2. Install will be the same in function and look of an OEM C6 w/ HUD

3. Install time is between 2-3 hours

below is a pic of 2011 GrandSport Cyber Grey I completed a few weeks ago

Do you make appointment times, or is first come first serve?

And how about payment?

The factory unit in my 2004 C5 quit working. Does Steve repair broken HUD unites?

Yes I do repair C5 units, but not on site, not sure if I'll be doing C5 work on trips

The C6 parts used are all new GM units

Hey Steve,

Do you still do the seat leather replacement? My driverside bottom is in need.
If so, what kind of price am I looking at?

Thanks!

Getting into the seats is something that may not be a good idea 2500 miles from home station

I often need to let the new cover sit in the sun, fit it, re-fit it, install, adjust.......I like to do things right

If you have basic skills I can walk you through the seat cover swap
