I bought my 96 S-10 from Cormier back in 97. They gave me a fair deal, plus it's a local dealership for me and pretty convenient. They also sponsor a Vette club called the Vette Set.

I had one of the worst experiences in my life with the sales department at Cormier. I would not give them a dime.

Details to help others out?

On paying too much thats the buyers fault. The dealers are out to make every buck they can, naturally.

I thought they were OK. I bought my car there in February and can point out both positives and negatives. I never worry too much about the salesperson. If he has to tell you about the car you have not done enough research on your own.

I search all the dealers inventory to find a car with the equipment I want, do some research and decide what I am willing to pay and then go make an offer. I was looking at two vehicles in So Cal at the time that were equipped the way I wanted. A silver C6 at Cormier and a black one at Paradise Chev. in Temecula. Cormier gave me 3.5 K more off the sticker than Paradise and threw in a good car cover and nice license plate frame.
