Default Need a favor for an exhaust fix it ticket

Does anyone have a c5 catback laying around that I can borrow (maybe with some sort of deposit), rent, or buy cheap? Condition doesn't matter as long as it bolts up to my car and keeps it quiet for the inspection. I'm in La Crescenta, so I'm looking for something in LA county.

Thanks in advance.

I might have something. Getting ready to install some Z06 Ti in my Vert.
Which means you can borrow the stockers. When is your ticket due?

It's due on the 29th. Between work, school, and the holidays, the ticket ended up on the back burner.

My garage is packed with a torn down track car or I'd offer to do the swap at my place. How about this... If you have a convenient place to work, I can help you with the install, or if you'd prefer, let's look into the cost of having a shop do the work.

Thanks

Just curious which exhaust was on the car when you were cited?

I talked to RPM Motors Inc. this morning. They can do it for us any time you are ready. I'll send you a PM.

Well, I crawled under the car to take a look and my catback is clamped onto the midpipe, so no-go for my original plan. Looks like I'm gonna bite the bullet and pick up a factory midpipe and catback from a junkyard or something.

Rookieracer, I really appreciate the help.

Blue Blood, its the Bassani exhaust that the previous owner installed. It has a muffled x-pipe and is straight through past that.

I have a West Coast Corvettes X-pipe to install as well. So my factory mid-pipe is available for loan too.

It ended up being a state referee ticket. I didn't have time to take care of it before the due date, so I ended up paying the full fine. It was less than $200, versus $120 for the state ref + cost/time of swapping the exhaust, so for future reference, it's not very practical to correct a "Modified Exhaust" ticket in California.
