Need a favor for an exhaust fix it ticket
Does anyone have a c5 catback laying around that I can borrow (maybe with some sort of deposit), rent, or buy cheap? Condition doesn't matter as long as it bolts up to my car and keeps it quiet for the inspection. I'm in La Crescenta, so I'm looking for something in LA county.
Thanks in advance.

My garage is packed with a torn down track car or I'd offer to do the swap at my place. How about this... If you have a convenient place to work, I can help you with the install, or if you'd prefer, let's look into the cost of having a shop do the work.
Thanks

Well, I crawled under the car to take a look and my catback is clamped onto the midpipe, so no-go for my original plan. Looks like I'm gonna bite the bullet and pick up a factory midpipe and catback from a junkyard or something.
Rookieracer, I really appreciate the help.
Blue Blood, its the Bassani exhaust that the previous owner installed. It has a muffled x-pipe and is straight through past that.

It ended up being a state referee ticket. I didn't have time to take care of it before the due date, so I ended up paying the full fine. It was less than $200, versus $120 for the state ref + cost/time of swapping the exhaust, so for future reference, it's not very practical to correct a "Modified Exhaust" ticket in California.
