You may want to place this question in the National Events Forum. If you want an idea about how successful this Tour was throughout the country, just go to that section. The Tour is all that's being talked about.
Everyone in the Pacific Northwest is anxious to hear how Terry and Pam faired. Can you imagine that flamed beasts exhaust echoing through the streets of New York?? I can't imagine a Corvette that would represent the spirit of the Pacific Northwest better......:D :D :D

Terry
I was behind him when I heard over the CB that we were exactly 2 miles behind Alan's lead Grand Sport. I couldn't figure out what the noise was (his exhaust) until he stepped on it and we got up to 94 mph closing ranks and catching up. :)
An update from Hal and Dona Burger in a e-mail to me.
"We talked to Terry and Pam this morning and they were in Gettysburg and had seen the reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg. They said the tour was awesome, and they had a great time although they still have AC problems. Last time they had it fixed it was almost all new parts and Terry said it lasted about 30 minutes and then it quit again. They are going to be in Spearfish, SD, for the Black Hills Corvette Classic on the 18th -20th, but not sure when they will be back in Portland. They said they would give us a call when they get back. They don't have a computer so we won't see any postings from them."
Thanks, Hal and Dona! What a tale Terry and Pam will have to tell when they return....
  :yesnod:
Nice Job!!!
The PNW leg was a class act with a lot of "us" and very little if any of "I" and "me". It was about people working together to get something special done. We're looking forward to hearing about the rest of the trip from Terry and Pam.
BTW, do you know what time K2 leaves for work? I need to pick up a car. :) :)
You're out of luck! Last I heard Klaus was wise to you and was chaining himself to his '61 every night, firmly toteing a double barrel 10 gauge..... During the day he parks it inside the Blaine Police Station. I think there's a "Wanted" poster of you up in the police office in Blaine!!
I'm just glad Herb didn't go up and you'd have gotten him involved in that attempted Grand Theft Auto, too....... I wasn't going to do it, but now I feel it's necessary to show the world the picture of you being arrested at "Peace Arch Park." I'm placing it on my web site tomorrow and nothing you can say will stop me....:yesnod: :yesnod: :D :D
