I've been away for awhile. Any MVCC participants (varmints) around anymore?

They are still around and you will see some old timers posting now and then. Give on of them a PM for info on future runs.

I just got a new C7 and thought about doing some runs with the boys but I guess everyone faded away. I looked for their web site with no luck. I did find a video from 2007 and Earl, you were in much of it with your R. Fellows car. I might just show up at the regular time and see if anyone shows. Benny told me the group was down to only a couple.

We are still around. We have a few other things going on this month with a gathering at Big Bear lake, and a run with a Shelby Cobra club to honor a member who has passed away. So we will not be meeting on the first Saturday of this month.

But generally the usual time at the usual place.

I have a new Stingray as well. Silver Z51 with exposed carbon fiber roof, black wheels and red calipers. I kept the Z06 RF as it was paid for.

Here it is Spanky would honestly love to see you out on this. I don't know how much longer I can do these, so it would be great if you were there....

This is to confirm our next cruise; Saturday August 23rd. This date coincides with the 1 year anniversary since we lost our close friend and SoCal SAAC member Hank Steckel, so we tried to design a route that we know Hank would definitely enjoy.** Below is the basic plan.

8:30am - 8:45am Meet at the Secret Car Club Cars & Coffee event in Rancho Santa Fe. (Hank was regular at this event) Donuts are
provided courtesy of the SCC. Coffee and other breakfast items are also available near by.

10:00am - Depart towards Escondido on Del Dios Highway. Basic route will be I 15 North to Old Castle Rd.; East thru Valley Center;
Highway 76 towards Lake Henshaw; Mesa Grande; Santa Ysabel; rest stop at Dudley's; continue thru Ramona to Highland
Valley Rd.;
.
1:30pm (approx.) - Lunch at the Cordiano Winery on Highland Valley Rd. Depart from the winery at your leisure.

If you haven't been to the Cordiano Winery, you don't want to miss out. They have a large shaded patio area that looks out over the San Pasqual Valley. Their menu includes personal size pizzas; salads; and deserts. You can either do a wine tasting; buy a bottle; opt for beer; or just enjoy the atmosphere and sip a soft drink.

Default MVCC - It ain't over yet, folks.

Hi, Brian

Nice C-7. Still got yer 5150 plate?

John and Jane checking in. Jane's got too many miles on her 2006 Z-51, so we've been looking hard at C-7s to replace it.

Remember this ? El Cajon a 'few' years back.

El Cajon gathering back in the day...

Best Regards Everyone!
