I have not seen the results. I'm thinking it is because they were at COTA and haven't had time to post them.

Thanks man. It took a while but finally got signed up. I think I'll be in the modified class as my car is a 2017 GS. I also signed up for a transponder I think I will need it right? I haven't done this in a while.

Great that you got signed up! Make sure to download and print out the Corvette Challenge form, fill it out according to your car and mods, then add up the points, that will tell you the class you'll be in (if you haven't already--here's the link from top of page - http://bit.ly/WCC_Comp_Form ) .. bring it with you to the track.

Yes, you'll need their transponder if you don't have your own, in order to get lap times.....

Hey! Who is up for a Corvette Racer Clinic tomorrow at Streets of Willow Springs?

I am thinking of coming down to visit and moderate a series of classroom sessions on "Getting Faster!"

Olitho

The Corvette Racer Clinic will be held during the beginner sessions since they have driver coaches and the general class instruction to cover. This clinic is targeted at the Intermediate and Advanced drivers looking to pick up that extra half second.

I am not teaching the class. I will be moderating the discussion and participating as well.

The proposed Corvette Racer Clinic agenda:

1. The best SoWS driving line
2. Driving techniques
   • Brake zone
   • Corner entry
   • Mid-turn
   • Corner exit
   • Heel and toe
3. The Friction Circle
4. Corvette set-up
5. Whatever else drivers what to talk about or ask

Seriously tho, there is nothing like a fresh set of A7's on a car set up by our great mechanic/driver, Donny Yorke, on a perfect day and track conditions.

Since no one could stay close enough to Dave to see how much of the track he was driving, I think we need to assume he skipped the Bowl until Dave proves otherwise. Better have some video to post, Dave, otherwise a cloud will forever taint your so-called personal best. And is that your real name?
