Default Car Transport SCal to NCal

I need a car moved from San Diego to Walnut Creek, Ca. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do it, assuming I really don't want to drive it up and fly back? Not one of my Corvettes so it doesn't need to be in an enclosed trailer.

If you are heading up there for some reason, super. Do understand that it is for my Wife's CMax not any of the Vettes.

Google's your friend, in this case... at least, it worked for me. A few years ago, I bought my grandfather's Grand Marquis from the estate. I considered flying back & driving it back to SoCal, but it was cost/time prohibitive. I started googling automotive shipping/transport & found several sites that gave reviews of the various companies. After I made my decision & set up the arrangements, they picked the car up at my parents' house (in South Florida) on a Friday morning. It was delivered to my house in SoCal on Sunday night. They must've driven straight-through... and mine was NOT the first car off, so they made a stop or two along the way. Yes, it was open-carrier, but the car arrived in fine condition. Cost me $800... not bad for cross-country shipping.

Sounds like a good experience and good price. The DIYTransport website was not working. Lots of cross country traffic but none up the left coast. Am waiting a pickup today that my daughter found. As she is paying for it (we are giving her the car) I don't have any idea what it will cost. My guess is $450-500.

Thanks to all. The car is safely in daughter's garage in Norcal. Dually Chevy w a 3-4 car trailer picked up at noon yesterday and the car was delivered atmidnite last night. No muss, no fuss. I think they came to us from USA Brokers. Worked nicely.

Anyone who needs a car transported= I do it from time to time for less than what those transporting savages charge. It's a side thing for when I'm bored and I love traveling haha and no I'm not some broke convict looking to steal.. I have my own businesses and an honorable discharge from the army and my own vettes and such lol .
