Spec Corvette goes to Willow Springs International Raceway near Lancaster, CA

He says, "Giving my #22 Spec ThorVette the once over at Corvette shop Attracktion before driving it 150 miles to Willow Springs for the race on Saturday."
John Nguyen and Christian Paluzzi are driving their Spec Corvettes to the track, along with veteran T1 racer retired Steve Schmidt.
We expect a 10 car field at our third ever Spec Corvette race weekend. Many more cars are in SoCal are expected to be finished in the next couple of months, along with several others around the country.
Come on out this Saturday if you want to watch the Corvettes race. There is also a Corvette Challenge running that day for the fastest lap time in a Corvette in five different classes; Stock, Modified, Super Modified, Unlimited and Vintage. https://www.facebook.com/CorvetteChallenge
The most fun I have ever had driving to Willow Springs. I drove with John Nguyen in his Spec Corvette and Steve in his C7. Steve had us take the detour through Angeles Crest Highway and there was almost no traffic.
Watched the race Saturday. Huge props for driving a W2W car to and from the track. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it getting on the freeway later that afternoon.
