Why are C7 Drivers snobs?
Here in California, you can flash the lights, wave, anything and they will not acknowledge you if you are in something less than a C7 or ferrrari, etc.
Why is this?

Dupe, and I personally call BS!
I wave at every Corvette I see. C2s and C3s never wave.

I have to agree with the OP but it's all gens of Vette owners. I dd my C7 and the last 10 or 12 Vettes I have waved at, including C5, C6 and C7's (mostly C7's), have not waved at me and I gave them plenty of time.
I have about a 20% success rate since I moved here 7+ years ago.

I give and get waves all the time here...perhaps it’s a California snob thing more than a C7 thing?

Don't think it's a "state" thing. I see a lot of younger Vette owners and I think most don't understand the wave. I wave when I see another Vette, some wave back and some don't, doesn't bother me either way really.

I've driven all over the Midwest and to the east coast and I'd say I get waves back 80% of the time. There are always the times when we just don't see each other...but here, I actually think the younger drivers in late C5's and C6's are just as enthusiastic. If anything, I notice "metal bumper" guys in C2's and C3's not as quick to wave (bad eyesight maybe)?

Because most of us old enough to drive/afford a C7, don't see the car till it is too late to wave.
Never had that problem on my motorcycle, but have missed a few fellow vette waves, in my C3 and my C7.
