I'm guessing you don't have to be a father to join this. Sounds fun!

I have been playing with ride planning software and have come back to Harley Davidson ride planner as the best choice for this event. No matter what I tried, googlemaps would not allow turn by turn directions on my created map, HD ride planner does.
So, perform the following:
  1. Using your PC, log into this site , click Sign In, create an account.
  2. Send me a PM to request custom map.
  3. When the email comes, Double click on the link in the email, which will open HD ride planner, and you then Save the ride.
  4. Download the Harley Davidson Ride Planner app onto your phone, and log in using the email and password you created on your PC.
  5. Open the HD Ride Planner app on your phone.
  6. Click the helmet at the bottom of the app, select the Part 1 map, and click Ride It. That is all, but you must do this before hand or it will not work.

If you have a manual, you will also need a left foot.

I'll need a left foot this time ... This week I'm finishing up an LS2/6-spd swap in "Valdez", our '71 t-top.

We gave it that name because it was always leaking oil, gas, etc. - Including during the Father's Day run two years ago, when we had gas sloshing out from the fuel filler/cap area.
I lost the gasket for the gas cap when we made the fuel stop in Solvang. Coincidentally, I had the fuel tank out last week to add a return fitting to it, and what do you think I found in the bottom of the tank? Yep, the gasket that fell off in 2017.

I will be joining. How bad of an idea is it to ride by following the crowd only? In any case I'll give the HD Ride Planner a try.

We have had over 50 corvettes on these runs... some are spirited drivers, some are more cruisers... with the large number, and different drivers... YES, a map is a good thing to have:-)
We have lost people on the way up.... we try to keep all together, and stop several times on the way... but alas, some fall off the radar..
1. map
2. 2-way radio
3. cell phone numbers..
Well get you there:-)

Map sent, please tell me if it works. You are the first to request the map. I will send map 2 for the second part of the drive if it works. Hope others choose to do the same.
