Default Best value proposition?

Whats the best value in the corvette world? I have the idea to get a decent c5 and just get an a&a supercharger. Probably some mild street upgrades like some c6 oem suspension stuff. Anyone have any suggestions? Thinking about getting a sub 15k car to start.

I think the c5’s are the best value. I think others look better but you pay for it and I’d rather cross the line first than win a beauty contest

unsure of your goals with the car, but just in case you are new to town,

the smog control laws have been on the books for a while, and loopholes get closed as they become known . The thing is all on computers, so tough to get a guy jeopardize his livelihood for a stranger , but I know money does strange things to some folks.

That the deal with street legal cars., computers, which are connected to the smog check machines, check the paperwork for accuracy, you can get your tags in vending machines around town.

I don't know much about race cars, but from what little I have heard, value was not a top of list achievement .

I have read a couple fo times that the C5 is easier to drive fast, but the C6 is quicker and much improved, but with less feedback as you approach the limits of handling. I am just repeating stuff I read, I don't race, and the only corvette I have ever owned is the C5 I bought used and own now.

If thats what you really want then find one thats already done or youll be way upside down. BLower is just the start, you gotta mod the rest of the car too at some point.
Far as getting your $ back forget it..these are toys you spend on not invest.

I'd take a blown one already if I found one. I'm not necessarily trying to mod the car for too many other things as I have a brz and an elise for their characteristics as well . I just want something that moves faster than a typical contemporary muscle car .
