PC Fred
About 2 yrs ago Fred and Irma moved to Georgia. Three weeks ago the Doctors in Atlanta that worked close with City Of Hope said the treatments were
no longer working. Fred is receiving hospice care at his home. Irma has been his rock thru the years and more so now. We talk a couple of times a week about every day stuff.
. Fred still reads the So Cal Forum to check out what old friends are doing. Fred and Irma is so strong in the way he is coping with these days. I am proud to call Fred my friend.
All at The Block wish him well and he's in our prayers.

I remember one time, many years ago, a bunch of us were going to spend the night up in Lone Pine. We were leaving some shopping center off Mt. Ave. and Fred was leading about 5 of us up the 15 to stop at some popular restaurant.
I'm right behind Fred and as we merge onto the 15 fwy, Fred punches it and is gone. I turn to my wife and said, "We're screwed now, I don't know where I'm going!"
When we finally make it to the restaurant, I went up and asked Fred, "What happened?" He said, "I forgot you guys were behind me."...classic!!!

...I remember now, Fred was trying to catch up with the guy that leading all of us there. Can't think of his name, but he was a CHP Commander. Owned a bunch of 'vettes, lived up in Big Bear and then moved to Havasu.
