It's quite windy and raining steadilly here in San Jose. Drove the
Z28 and left the vettes in the garage.............

Wednesday night about 10:30 and I hope all are home safe and sound. The lightening and big booming thunder is really unusual for the Bay Area. Great show here in the East Bay. The Blue one is high and dry while the poor daily driver had to brave the deep puddles this AM up to the train station, white is so nice when you just hose it off before pulling it back into the garage. See, we did have winter here in Northern California, at least for a day. ;)

Made it to work and back yesterday. I drive from Livermore to Palo Alto and back, so this was no simple feat. Since my daily driver Probe GT is parked in the garage with a frozen A/C compressor and shot clutch bearing, I had to drive the Vette. I was pleased with how well it did in the rain etc. The wind hardly caused me any problems. I was real nervous abou the standing water in the morning.

Now, if I can just get the daily driver fixed this weekend!! :auto:

My friggin pool is within 2" of the deck. Kinda want to see if it will overflow before it's all over :lol:

I usually don't mind driving the vette in the rain but I Zaino'd Presidents' Day and it looks so GOOD! So I haven't driven it since.
The way everyone drives in the rain, falling branches (and trees) and emerging potholes I even fear for my daily driver Nissan Altima. Wanted to drive the vette up to Tahoe this weekend but weather report says "chains required" :banghead: I think I'll wait until the 'vette GTG in June :seeya
