I read in the "Sacramento Bee" there will be the 3rd Annual "Corvettes For Charity" show-and shine event at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn on July 28, proceeds will help the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to around 3 p.m. at the fairgrounds at 1273 High St. the article said call Rocky Pearson at (530) 878-6116 for more details.

Did any forum members attend the 1st or 2nd Annual events? Anyone from Sacramento area want to plan a caravan there?

I have relatives up in Auburn, and since I'll be getting my car back w/ the new 700R4 soon, I'll probably want to head up to this. So, if guys down here want to form a caravan, that would be cool. (Although I'm a bad leader, and hideous with directions! Someone else would have to do it.)

The Cameron Park Corvette club left from the Dam Nursery Auburn Folsom RD & The Dam road last year. Last year was great! Good music, good company, & nice cars. When I get a departure time, I'll post it.

I plan on attending for sure. It will be my first year, but I have heard it is really good.

We're meeting at the Dam nursery at 6:30am and be on the road at 7:00am sharp. This will get us there before 8:00. Sign in is from 6:30 - 9:00. Hope to see you!
