Arroyo Grande 7/27-28-29

It is just a few miles south of Pismo Beach. Maybe a 10 minute drive from there.
Contact 805 481-4483, 481-4148 for more info.
It is an 'all car' show with a separate Corvette Class. Entry few is $25. I heard the deadline passed, but I myself just heard about it. I called them and they faxed me an entry form.
Show is on 28th.
Friday night in Grover Beach, next door, there will be a Sunset Cruise from 7-9 PM.

What I don't get is when they did away with Shell Beach and changed Grover City to Grover Beach. Guess they thought Grover Beach would draw more tourists.....that was back when the pier was still made of wood.

Ooooooh this sounds very interesting! If I can get my vette running by then, I 'd like to attend. Shell Beach isn't Shell Beach anymore? Almost positive it still is. You are right Goody about the "city" to "beach" change. city council and many others thought it sounded more attractive to tourist. Sensei,(and any other vettes from the valley) if you come over on 166,feel free to stop in. I'm very close by.

Sensei,
I called and only got answering machines, and no one has returned my call yet. Can you tell me what time and where for both the Saturday car show and the Friday night cruise? Also, who is this being sponsored by?

Cruise is 7-9 on Grand Ave, Grover Beach from 16th to 5th st. You have to enter from one of those streets. The cross streets will be blocked off for the cruise
I'm not sure where the show itself is. I'm following my club there. I'll see what I can find out. The cutoff has already passed to enter the show. But, I bet they will still let you in.
If you send me a fax number, I can fax the application to use. e me with it if you want.

Thanks Sensei! The guy just called me. The Friday night cruise is just what you said. He did mention there was also a BBQ and dance there. On Saturday, the show is on Arroyo Grande on Grand Ave. on the other side of 101. The show is set up for 300 max. cars, and they only have 220 now, so they are still taking registrations even though their deadline has passed. (He is supposed to be faxing me a form, but if I don't get it, I'll email you so you can fax me one.)

Hey Sensei,
The form says you need to check in by 10am, but I am wondering what time (how much earlier) to show up on Sat.? What time are you and your club planning on being there?
