Wrecked! - UPDATE

Allstate assigned a Total Loss Adjustor to the case on Monday. After she priced the car, which was to our surprise, a good payoff amount, she also mentioned receipts of items added to the car would be considered.
Receipts were gathered and faxed yesterday for about 5K which the adjustor added another 1,200 for that.
All in all guys, Harvey is coming off on the positive but as he says... "not until I have the check in my hands"
Thank you all for your nice replies and special thanks to..
COH -- for helping with receipts
WellAdjusted and Abby --for their daily advices
Richey's collision -- Karen and Chris
It's great to know you have friends when you need them!
Now... off to shop for a Chevy Avalanche? Boy they are nice, anyone has one for sale?

I'm so glad that this all worked out. Would rather that H still had the vette, but it sounds like he will be happy with a new vehicle.
See ya soon!

I bet he can't wait to get the check in his hands.

No, not able to. The car will be auctioned and only dealers can buy it. so, I guess that means I need some, got some??

Well, $$check$$ arrived last week and it's on it's way to clearing the 10 days at the bank. Very
amount too!!
Thinking of ways to put this to good use... C6, Avalanche, CI event?, hmmm all the things I can think of... Oh wait... check is not made out to my name..
