You go to 5 diff Hooters locations and at each location you draw 1 card from the deck. At the last location you HOPE that you have the best poker hand. Royal flush, straight, etc... At the end you have the opportunity to buy 2 additional cards to better your hand.
Hell come join us... we'll teach ya. You can have your pics taken with the Hooter girls, meet some great people, and DRIVE YOUR VETTE!!!!

We'll get together and start from one Hooters in Grapevine and collect one playing card from each of the next Hooters we visit. At the last place, we all get together and compare hands. You can play the cards you are dealt or you can buy additional cards for $5 each in the hopes it will improve your hand (there is a limit of two extra cards you can buy). Of course, what cards you draw are completely random and are affected by your drawing order at each Hooters (first come first served). With the exception of the first and last stop, we will only visit each Hooters for a few minutes (long engough to pick up your card, and, um, scope out the wait staff )
Basically, it's a fun day at Hooters plus driving and meeting new people and seeing their cars.

Hey fellas and Gray Fox,
I won't be able to take part in the actual poker run, but I would love to come out and meet you guys in person and hang out for a little bit! I've got a birthday party that I HAVE to attend and it starts at 2:00
BTW, I think a corvette club will be meeting there today at the same time of the poker run. This outta be interesting!

Thanks for the quick pics George. It was a great turn out for the poker run and the five Hooter's did fantastic as our hosts again.
Who would have thunk two hands with four of a kind would be drawn? Sure am glad I had the four aces!!

My first poker run! Wohoo!
Here's some shots I snagged and some stats I gathered for no better reason than I could do it:
Turnout:
22 cars I counted
Generations Represented:
C6 - 4
C5 - 15
C4 - 1(?!)
C3 - 2
50th Ann's - 5
Colors:
White - 4
Black - 5
Red - 4
Pewterish something...forgot the name of it - 2
Blue - 3
50th Ann. Red - 3
Oldest:
Looked like a pair of '74s - please correct me
Newest:
Someone had an '05 with dealer tags!
By the way - you guys with the verts - how does the back of your neck feel after you got home?
