Zeke Fund Celebrates World Animal Day, October 4
World Animal Day, celebrated worldwide each year on October 4, now includes its FIRST Houston-area event, organized by the Zeke Fund. This global event, started in 1931 at a convention of ecologists in Europe, is now celebrated in countries as diverse as Australia and Malta, Singapore and Lithuania, Japan and Brazil.
From 11:00AM to 9:00PM on Tuesday, October 4, Zeke Fund will host a fund-raiser to support animal rescue at Fuddruckers Katy Mills Mall, 25407 Bell Patna Drive, Katy, TX 77492. Dog treats will be given free as long as supplies last and special “World Animal Day” t-shirts will be sold.
Fuddruckers will contribute 20% of all meal purchases made from 11 to 9 to the Zeke Fund. Zeke Fund is a tax-deductible charitable organization providing animal rescue, wellness and adoption programs.
