Not sure if I will make it out this week.. I no longer have a 3rd gear. I think the 3-4 syncro is gone. I was racing a GSXR 750 and hung with him. First good highway run with the cam and he could not leave my front bumper. =) We got off the highway and after shifting into third, I could not get it out... So, now I have every gear except 3rd. But I will still try and make it out and have a margarita or two.. well maybe three. HAHA

Well, that definitely sucks. Hope you can make it anyway. Weather should be great.

Well, I've taken a job. Unfortunately, at least at this point, I'll be working Sunday evenings and will most likely not be able to attend the GTG's.

Some of you may recall that Tim, my son-in-law, left with my car a couple of weeks ago when we were there. He still has it and I hope that he elects to join you.

We, meaning mostly he, made some good progress on the new suspension for his '70. We have the front loosely installed but are waiting on a few necessary things before we, mostly he, can start put the rear suspension together.

Y'all have a cool one for me.

Robert

I'll be there about 6:45 this Sunday.

I motion to move this thing to 6:00 pm going forward.

Any thoughts/comments about a "field trip" in October?

We can move the start to 6 p.m. (advantage: happy hour drink prices! and we will still have some day light). I think that an October drive is a great idea, let's talk more about it this evening.

Well, with the weather outlook for this weekend, I might actually be able to get all of my carpet installed! As most of you know, my car will melt if it gets rained on. So, if it is (raining), then I will show up in something other than my vette.

Derek,

Please feel free to stop by. We typically don't get too crazy, just a lot of talk and drinks.

There are several of us from Mckinney that are heading out there today. You should definetly try and make it.

Mark,

Please remember my offer. I would hate for any of your tires to get flat spots due to sitting dormant for too long or even that, "I hate you" idle/acceleration because they have not been driven.

Not sure how close you are to Orlando but I will be there Nov 6 - 8. Hope to see you again soon, if not drive your Z sooner!

Take care and have a cup of turtle soup for me!

My B&B Bullets finally arrived yesterday. Can't wait to get them on. Hopefully by Sunday.

Ken - will that beat your rear carpet install?

I will accept this mission but refuse to blatantly promote you C6 guys! I prefer to go generic as to not alienate any of our Corvette brethren.

I agree, but I could not find a "generic" Corvette sign picture, so I went with the majority - C6.
