Just wanted to give everyone a heads up....a fellow CF member who is moving to Albuq may be in town on the 13th. I hope nobody minds but I mentioned the cruise to him -- maybe an open seat, or to meet us at our starting point to see some Vettes! I told him to stop by this thread if he's interested in a get together.

I was waiting for a few more people to chime in (I know there's more C5's in town than this) but I wanted to summarize where it looks like we are at.

Meet for food/drinks potential crest run.
Location hasn't been decided yet.
Here's my $.02 regarding meeting location from experience with other club type meets: Since it's the first time meeting for most of us, it may be easier to meet somewhere where there's space outside and you can bring your food out there also. That way you can walk around, check out the cars and talk to people. We did one meet at a Chili's and it was kind of awkward cause you can't put the car to the person, and you're pretty much limited to talking to the guys next to you, so you aren't shouting across the table. Anyhow..just my thoughts for whatever that's worth.

Hey Folks. I'm chiming in a little late, but allways like to see others with common interests. How about the Sonic @ I-40 and Juan Tabo? There's a big parking lot there at the park. I'm in, where ever.

And a time of about AM works for everyone but jdmvette...... What can we work out so he/they can come too? I'd hate to get together without someone who wants to come also.....
I have to admit I'm looking forward to this. When we got our Vette, I looked into the NM Corvette Association....A spontaneous group getting together (every month/couple months/summer!) sounds like fun without the membership price or feeling an 'obligation' to go!! Just my $.02! No offense to any NMCA members!!
