Texas question
I'm moving to the Shreveport, LA area this weekend and need some (engine?) work on my:
1978 vette with a crate ZZ4 and Edelbrock ProFlo EFI...
anybody know a shop in the region they'd trust with this setup?...I'd be willing to travel several hours for a good place...

Not sure, but do not think they work on C3's. I remember reading that they stopped doing C4 work a couple years ago. Things may of changed again though.

Don't bother... They will not even work on my C4 (89). Look up TrakDog here on CF. He is in the DFW area and worked on Vettes. So far any question I have asked here he has been able to answer.

I believe your best bet is to look for a screen name along the lines of "Vader" and ask him where some good places to go in your region are. Hes usually pretty open to questions and lives in LA so its worth a shot. However he is a C4 guy.... just more likely to know a place in that area to do the work.

My Brother had some work done on his C4 over at prostreet motorsports in Garland. They did a great job at very reasonable prices. I am going to have him install my Supercharger kit from A&A when it gets here.
