Who else is happy to finally see the sun shining?

I thought for a while I was back East where you don't see the sun for months in Winter.

Let hope it's this nice next Sunday.

OMG - my wife shrieked when the sun came out. I ran to the window and actually saw BLUE SKY for the first time in a while. And in the last hour the temp has gone from 37 to 48 degrees. I think the '71 will be fired up and driven this afternoon - still trying to get the motor broken in!!!

It's beautiful outside. I was out cleaning my pool and doing a little mid-winter maintenance.

Summertime...and partytime...is just around the corner!

After driving thru the rain and wet streets all week, I *had* to wash the car! Felt good to do some detailing, even though it will probably be dirty again in a couple days. Making a grocery run to Braums never felt so good, after finishing the clean-up.

Yeah, waaaaaay East: I might as well be back in Blighty, the weather's been so bad lately.

I've been underground for a while, how's everyone doing? Good Xmas and all that?

yesterday was really nice. I got the car out after a 10 day nap. Driving my 149hp nissan frontier for ten days straight was getting very depressing

I say old Chap, good to hear from you.

Will you be able to make the Oklahoma Cruise next Sunday?

We're spending the whole weekend at the Fort Worth Stock Show with my daughter and her lamb. I'd love to come to the Cruise, but I'm on a bit of a sticky wicket: can't not go to the stock show. It's a big show for the farmers, I'll get shot if I skip it.

Any chance that anyone from the Forum is going to be at the stock show? I've seen so many lambs lately that they're starting to look good, and so few Corvettes that I'm withdrawing, and that's just wrong! I could use a decent petrolhead discussion.

Now that I'm back online, I'll check the forum more often and check for local events, and try to turn up at something. A brace of NBM verts is better than one, so I'll try to keep you company!

I'll PM you my mobile number, in case you get there and are at a loose end and want to check out the ovine talent. They'll all be naked, shaved, and on parade. I have no idea where we'll be, but we'll be there all day Sat/Sun, daybreak to dusk I expect. Just look for the Lewisville sheep!
