Re: Arizona (Krafcik)
Krafcik,
If you want to get together with the Phoenix crew, send an email to woodworker, on the C3 forum, he'll get you on the email list for when we all get together. I've been absent lately, but somewhere, somehow, people are getting together on Saturdays for icy cold good corvette times.

Chris,
As JoshC mentioned, I am woodworkr, and I am on the C3 board. We have made a club here in AZ called CorvetteForum of Arizona. There is no dues, no officers, no regular meetings to attend, none of the stuff that is normally associated with clubs. All you and your father would have to do to become a member is send me the following information:
Given Name
Corvette Forum screen name
Corvette Forum board you use
Email address
Car info (75 red Conv. eg)
Phone number (optional)
I will then send you the list of all members. What you should do at that time is make a folder in your email software and add all of our names and email addresses. When we send mailings out we send it to all similar to the Forum but instead of a posting, the members of our club will get back to you and assist you where ever possible. We try to get together on Saturdays rotating around the Valley and lend a hand to club members that may have a project that they are doing. Recently one of the members changed the motor in is 81 from an L-48 the a brand new ZZ-4. With the assistance of members the car was up and runningin 2 weekends. Let me know on that.
Also I have organized a fund raising event for the American Cancer Society, it is going to be a Cruise around the Phoenix Valley and a Car show. The parade of Corvettes is going to be escorted by the Maricopa County Sheriffs Department Motorcycle unit with their lights on clearing the way for the procession. There is going to be live music and dancing, pleanty of places to eat at the show as well. There is no fee to sign up just asking for a donation of whatever the household budget can afford. We presently have 130 cars that are registered. If you or your father are interested in participating you can sign up at the following web address: http://temp.corvetteforum.net/events...sterbria.shtml
The event is on Sunday November 14th. The registration starts at 6:00AM and the parade kicks off at 9:00AM, returning to the host's establishment at around noon. The route is about 40 miles or so and with the speeds we are going to be doing should take about 3 hours. We have $4000 raised so far and looking to get more. Come on out and meet your fellow Corvette owners and help in a worth while cause.
For more information you can reach me at corvette@pipeline.com. If you email me I will give you the phone numbers where I can be reached as well if you need any additional information.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon,
JoeB

Cruise-In I Veteran
Re: Arizona (Krafcik)
I live in Yuma, and have been incommunicado for awhile with the Phoenix bunch, but I can say that their hospitality is second to none, especially Scottsdale Jack and Purple C4, or is that C5 yet.
