Question about the events at the Pavilions in Phoenix ->
I will be in Phoenix this weekend, and I would like to go check out the cars, but I forgot if it's on Friday or Saturday night. Also does anybody know at what time do people start showing up there?

Hey Cosmo,
The Pavilions event is on Saturday. It starts at 5:00, but people are showing up earlier and earlier, especially as the weather has gotten nicer.
Maybe you would like to join some of us for a Corvette club drag event at Firebird International Raceway on Saturday night.
Drop me a line if you would like more information. I can also email you some phone numbers where you can reach me. Have you got anywhere to stay? I'm alone at home, so I could put you up if you're interested. I know the rates here in the valley are getting pretty crazy with the World Series and the tourist season starting.

thanks for the reply and the offer.
I am a Phoenix native (well, kind of. I did live there for 10 years), my whole family still lives there, so I got a place to stay. About the drag race at Firebird, I am not into that kind of races, but I would like to stop by and say hi to everybody. Please give me more details and/or a phone number, here or through e-mail.
BTW, I will be moving back to Phoenix next summer. :cheers:
