Default progressive concierge?

Hey all,

I have a question for y'all.... my fathers car was in an accident (he has a 2003 C5)(some guy hydroplaned into him the other day) and the guy had progressive auto insurance. Question is, does anyone know anything about the concierge service? pros/cons or should we just take it to our preferred body shop and have progressive fit the bill?

thanks all!

Ryan

Do not let progressive handle it. Take it to a shop you trust.

I thought the same thing...but my mind was changed.

I did the service with Progressive. They told me the body shops in the area they used...Told me which one they were taking it to... and they did a great job. Progressive was very easy to work with...Lifetime warranty on the reapairs.

If you do the service make sure the body shop can do Corvettes, the car is a whole diffiernt animal then my Suburban.

Been a busy summer. Trying to do yard work on the new house and the rebuild of my 73 Camaro project I bought. We will try and make one before the end of the year.

Progressive is the worst of the insurance companies. How do I know? Been a collision tech for 22 years now. The shops they have as their blue ribbon shops short cut repairs to save money. That lifetime warranty on repairs from ANY insurance company is worth about as much a worn out shoe.
