outlaw shootout
iF ANYBODY Likes horsepower and fiberglass, clearlake is the place to be this week. Topps boat club ,which is a offshore powerboat club is holding a 3 day top speed event for boats from around the country .It starts off thursday night night at Lances turtle club, which has been voted one of the top ten watering holes for go fast boats in the U.S. by powerboat mag.There will be a bikini contest that night with some of theboats there. Friday night there is a party on the kemah waterfront with boats and bands. Sat. is the top speed run and can be seen from the spillway park in baycliff. There will be boats there with up to 2500 horsepower. It will be a fun thing to do to get ready for sundays trip. I will be in my 65 vert with 17 inch torque thrust 2s.
