Default Stop the Madness!!!!!

This is just unbelievable

Preferred run flats - BACKORDER
Preferred non run flats - BACKORDER
Conticomfort kit - BACKORDER

I'm riding on friggin' air with 25K on my stock RF's and just want some tires. Is that too much to ask for?

Not to mention, shopping for tire opinions on this forum has been a headache due to all the mixed opinions.

I'm done now

Check out the Michelin RF's, NTB has them. When it comes time (still have a ton of tread) I will be purchasing them. BTW - way less expensive.

Where are you looking?

Currently, Discount tire can have the Nitto Invo's next day, BFG KDWs in 1 - 2 days, Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT Run Flat next day, Pilot Sport PS2
in 2 days, Kumho Ecsta SPT in 2 days, or you can check with Corvettes of Houston 'cause they just might have some in stock. You can also try Tomz Wheels and see if he still has some of the Vredesteins left! Good luck!

What's bad about discount tire and a lot of other tire retailers is that they will show stock or availability of some sort when in reality they are on the backorder list just like anybody else. Been there with more than a couple of major tire retailers. 4 major tire dealers in Houston have my cell number and know I have cash in hand for a set of tires. It's an easy sale, however, my phone has yet to ring.

I ordered some temps from tirerack. Hopefully, I'll have some fresh rubber on it this weekend

Same thing happen to me about 3 months ago trying to find to front tires that were RUN-Flats. Had an order with Tire Rack, but they had no idea when the tires would show up (week to 2 months). So I cancelled it and called every tire place in Dallas I could find. Finally, I called a Goodyear Retail Center and they had like 8 sitting in a warehouse here in Dallas. I ended up paying over a $120 more for them but I really needed them. Talk about lucky!

Keep calling places....my 2 cents.

They don't have Firestone run flats for the C6. I've been there in person 3 or 4 times and have called 10 or 12 times.

EDIT: In fact when I called yesterday, they said the last customer that absolutely needed tires, they found him a set of run flats on Ebay.

Hmmm not sure what I saw then. I did not verify the size but they had two sets sitting there. Maybe for a Z06?

There are no front RF tires... Firestone still has not said when they will ship, Goodyear is supposed to deliver to us on the 29th, and Michelin still has their fronts on back order. Bridgestone has a front RF but no matching back in RF. A set of Kumho's non-RF will run about $800.00 and are an excellent tire, and are available now. We have a waiting list, and as soon as tires come in we will be calling customers. I am in almost daily contact with Firestone, Goodyear, Tire Rack, and Discount... know they are tired of hearing from me and will ship to COH just to get rid of me.

I was in the same spot like 3 weeks ago. I got tired of looking at the threads of my tires and drove to discount. Got my Goodyear Eagle F-1's for 350 eac. not a terrible price.
