Default so far so good

A little update for you guys that would like to know.

Dealer said that the lifter collapsed and that the cam is shot as well as the motor. They wrote up an estimate to my warranty company for a new motor. Luckily they approved it only downside is that i can not move the cam over because that was shot. I was basically torn between not modding the motor while its out and keeping it stock for now or modding it. Well I've been looking at cams the past 2 days and my heads been I basically narrowed it down between a few cams and decided to give texas speed a call. Told them what cam i had before and what i would like to see in the next cam. something similar but a little larger. They suggested the torquer v.3 because it has a better mid range than the 233/239 cam they had. I can't remember the guys name on the phone, but he was very helpful and put up with my novice questions and steered me in the right direction and away from the huge HP numbers and back down to reality of useful power range and where that power is for me and for as much as i drive the car each yr as well. thanks again to all of you and to texas speed for putting me in the right direction.

i was happy with my old cam, so i did decide to go slightly bigger. the intake lift is crazy big its a 231/234 .643/.609 i believe on a 111

its supposed to have a better mid range than my old cam. so this should be fun
