DFW Need state inspection done!!
Its time for me to get state inspection done. I have 2 problems. My tint is too dark and I have a CEL on after my vararam install(do i need a tune). My code reader says that is running rich. I can erase the codes maybe to get rid of that problem. I would really like to keep my tint on that I have instead of tearing it off. Anyone have suggestions/shops??

To get around the tint roll your windows down and then disconnect the power window switches. There is no law that says you have to have side windows. For your CEL have you tried clearing the code? How fast does it come back after you clear it? Why not just put your stock intake. It would even be better to put $100 towards a custom tune so you can pass legitimately than to pay $100 extra for a dirty inspection...

Good idea on the window suggestion. I've got HP tuners - it would cost $100 to purchase 2 credits to "tune" your car - I can't really tune it (still learning) but I could easily turn your CEL's off perm. and adjust fan temps, cags, fuel cutoff, rev limiter, etc. That should take care of any issues getting your car inspected.
