Well.......we could pull off a cruise after the Scottsdale meet to, say... Payson, for a cooler afternoon out of the heat...then...on our way back later in the afternoon, hit Scottsdale Pavilion's CORVETTE SATURDAY event ?!

The DoubleTree is right there at the Scottsdale Car & Coffee event !!!
I don't think Kate would suffer too much there....check and see if any good rates you can score at the Tucson location are available for Scottsdale.

Maybe if you could get a large part of the Southern Arizona posse mobolized for the GREAT day of events, you could score a big group discount for everyone The DoubleTree has ALOT of competition in the Scottsdale region...I bet you could score a great discount easily

Now you're learning We Phoenix metro guys could vouch for that route
I would definitely suggest you run Pioneer parkway ALL the way north to U.S. 60, then west into town versus the 87 junction we came on in on from Gilbert.

Too much traffic, as you will be coming into residential areas and speed enforcement cameras at almost every major intersection. Plus, ADOT has everything under construction on Gilbert Road, trust me on that one

When I say early I mean around 830, we can meet at Starbucks at around 8am get a cup and head over around 830. I have never been there for the coffee and cars but have driven by and it is sometimes very crowded. I can only be there for a little while, 1030 because I have to pick up a friend at the airport.
