I just sold my 03 C5Z and found this 08 Z, in McKinney TX.

I only want silver and can't find one locally. I'm really leery about buying a car site unseen and I'm 1,700 miles away. Is anyone nearby who can PLEASE go check out this car for me? The sales dude is Gary Trent, who sounds plenty cool and seems to be a straight shooter. I'd fly down and most likely drive it home, but not before buying one tasty dinner!

I never heard of that dealership. They are about 300 miles west of McKinney in Big Spring. Did they tell you it would be in McKinney?

Looked at their website and it shows a McKinney address in the contact link. Go test drive it for the man and get a free dinner. Beautiful car!

If it is really in McKinney I would love to test drive it for him but I am sure there are alot more local guys with more Z06 knowledge than I have. I will ask the guys that go to our weekly get together.

Their website shows an address of 900 North Central Expwy. McKinney Tx. and shows a map. The sales guy the OP mentions in original post is listed as the contact. The original dealership was in Big Spring and they either moved to the Metroplex or opened a 2nd location there.

So far it looks like Anthony of LG Motorsports might earn that dinner. He pinged me first and we have been chatting - he's going to ck it out this weekend. If I buy it, it will be weekend after this one (still in IF status). I know there are a lot of crazy HP Z's in Texas - I wouldn't mind a little GtG before heading back to Calif...that is if you will allow a foreigner into your midst. : )

I notice it claims machine silver metallic. Didn't GM change to blade silver or something?

I drove by after lunch. Car is real. Was dirty from rain but that is expected. Stock number 10035A. 9k miles. Took pics. Has minor chin damage and separation. They were closed of course, but Anthony would be your best bet for mechanical review anyhow.

LG is awesome. I only trusted them with my trans am. They are great people. I will be taking my C6 there when the warranty is up.
