Wanted to let you guys know that I had a bad experience at Parkway in Tomball. Set up an appointment 1 1/2 weeks in advance for an oil change and small fix on my roof panel of the 2008 Vette. Talked with Joe and he agreed that the little plastic piece that keeps the roof panel attached when placed in the trunk would be ordered. By the way, tried to have it fixed a few months before and they didn't have it in stock. They said to show up at 8 on Monday which my wife did after which was asked if she would be waiting on the vehicle, which she said she was, took the vehicle.
Well, 2 1/2 hours later she inquired about the vehichle, she finds out that joe has taken off for lunch and nothing has been done. Long story short, we get the car the next day, without any explanation on what went on and it may or may not be needed to be taken to a reliable chevy place. Anyway, Parkway is off my Christmas list and I will not buy a car from them and probably not a Chevorlet because of them.
I have actually recieved some of the best service from Parkway that I have ever had. I've made the trek to Parkway from Pearland just because they have done such a good job and have always been quick with routine maintenance.
I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Talk to the guys boss and let him know what happened. They need to know these things so it doesn't happen again( to you or me). Also, if you get a satisfaction survey from them and every answer is not a positive, they get in big trouble with GM.

Same here. Parkway has always provided me quick and excellent service.
I did not have a good experience at Parkway Chev. the last time I was there. Got there first thing on a Saturday morning to have the oil changed in my 2009 Z06. Told me it would be 2 hours for them to change the oil. Just walked right out.....was like "not going to happen". Went back to The Woodlands to have the oil changed.
Something else that made me worry. I asked the service rep about the procedure in changing the oil. The person had no clue on the steps of what I was asking.
Not surprising. Parkway is the closest dealer to me with Lonestar being second closest, but I always take my Vette to Mac Haik.
Lonestar scraped the crap out of the underside of my Z the first time it had its oil changed because some inexperienced kid (20ish) couldn't drive it onto the lift correctly. Who the hell puts kids in charge of a $70k+ vehicle?
I've had both good and bad experiences at Parkway, but so far not a bad one at Mac Haik other than the longer drive to get there.

If you're driving from Pearland, you should go to Monument Chevrolet. I know a lot of the guys there and they are very knowledgeable when it comes to Vettes. I take all of my vehicles there.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience next time go to Corvettes of Houston. Good luck on your next service.
sorry to hear about your bad experience.. i got my car from parkway, great deal, service ok, but bad sales people. i got my car 12-30-2009 and i am still waiting for my freakin NAV disk. no call from sales or mgmnt..when i call they said it still on back order...5months already
Well, be careful with service. I have to revise my statement. I took my truck in there for just front brakes because I had already done the back brakes. No call, no nothing, just an extra charge because the back rotors were "warped and needed resurfacing". Over $400 out the door for just needing front brakes.
There are so many variables at play. The service advisor, the tech, the issue to be addressed, etc, etc.
I have always used Mac Haik for my Corvettes and a Geo Prizm I purchased from them because they are relatively close by - and have been there for years. (My high school buddy's dad bought a 77 Chevy Nova Rally there.)
I had mostly good experiences with them - but the last one was the roof recall back in 05. First off, the dummy attendant left the key in the car and it locked out, so I had to drive back to open the car. The battery also was drained because it wasn't in reverse. Then when I got the car back 2 days later than promised, I found glue marks on the rear quarters and trunk. I still come across some undiscovered stains when I polish my car. Their explanation of the 2 extra days was some story about the replacement roof not available and the paint guy being out. But I suspect they could not get the right paint match for the Millenium Yellow. It was not a perfect match, close but not perfect.
Which brings me to.....
Any recommendations on where to bring my Vette for the second roof recall?????

Not Lonestar. They did the roof recall "fix" on 2006 coupe's painted roof, and it delaminated on the way home after they did it. Ended up with a new roof.
Guess with all the area dealers, you roll the dice and take your chances.
