Just thought you would like to know that it appears Plano is getting serious about speed enforcement. I gave my V1 a hug last night:)
I saw several places where squad cars were lined up behind houses while a "lady officer" was standing on the easment with an instant-on KA-band flashing traffic.
75 and Springcreek, Ridgeview Dr between Custer and Independence.
Another trap I see frequently (especially in the summer) is in the Verizon CO parking lot on Legacy between Redriver and Custer as well.
Houston 610 = Dallas 635 (LBJ)
Houston Beltway 8 = Dallas 190 (President George Bush Tollway)
Houston 45 = Dallas 75 (North Central Expressway)
Take 45 from H-town into the Big D. Then in Dallas take 75N (towards Sherman.) You will pass 635 and then come to President George Bush (190.) If you were to stay on 75N and go past GB you would be in Plano. Take GB East (one toll,) go past Garland, and then get off at 78N. Take 78 north 4-5 miles and you will come to Wylie. LGM will be on the right hand side just after a storage shed place.
Plano is primarily located between the Dallas North Tollway and the North Central Expressway which run basically parallel and between Plano Pkwy and Legacy (north and south parallel boundaries.) East of North Central Expressway is "East Plano" and west of North Central Expressway towards the Dallas North Tollway is "West Plano."
I live near Legacy & Alma and let me tell 'ya, I REALLY watch my speed on Legacy. They have a few hideouts that they frequent, they especially like the parking lot of that GTE office, and they also like to get a troop of bikes and sit in neighborhood entrances like somebody else mentioned.
I don't care if the biggest, most obnoxious, most stickered, POS ricer boy 16-year old tries to play with me, I'm going 40 mph and THAT'S THAT!!

thats what I was saying, the GTE CO (Central Office/Colocate)... you and I ARE close NEIGHBORS...from the looks of the front entrance setup, you must be on the south side of Legacy:) They had about 5 cars and motocycles out on Sunday @ Redriver and Legacy. The Cop was standing in the shadow of the brickwork. Looked like they were really busy.

Yup, I drove right past 'em on Sunday!! Jerks!! Even though I was behaving it still made my heart jump to see that because you KNOW they'd love to nail you.
Actually I live in those townhouses on the same corner as Walgreens, so make sure you wave next time we cross paths :)
