Default Alignment in Houston?

I took mine to NTB and left before they ever drove it, wasn't getting any warm feelings from talking to them. So who do you trust with your vette in Houston? Thanks.

took mine to corvettes of Houston (North side), they did a great job, installed my wheels too. I've heard good things of Southwest Alignment (i think thats the name) on the southwest side.

Your intuition was right - my advice is to avoid NTB completely. I had two experiences at two separate NTB's in Houston and both ended up bad - fortunately such experience was not in the Vette. Sorry I don't have a recommendation on your alignment qustion.

took my gto to the NTB over off 45 near 646 and guy walked in threw the keys down on the desk said tires were bad and walked off. I was like WTF, talked to another guy and told him what happened. He went and looked at tires and said they looked fine just out of date. I replaced tires (not at NTB), and wheel is still off and allignment is still screwed up. I have a 6 month warrenty I guess I could just live up there for the next 6 monthes untill they get it right.

I know its a bit out of your way Andrew, but Greg's shop is definitely worth the commute. He has ALWAYS gotten my stang dead on the money with the alignment...and that's no easy task with all of the suspension work that car has done.

front tires were from 2004 I'm guessing maybe they were the original tires. Probably had new wheels and tires when the guy bought the car and put the orig. back on when selling.

Took my daily driver to southwest alignment today. Top notch work. Vette is going in soon. They have taken good care of it on the past and have lots of boards to accommodate lowered rides.

I recommend C&C's Northside Motors. Curt will take care of you. His price was cheaper than what the dealer charges to boot.

well after all of my bashing of the NTB on 646 I took it to the NTB off of Bay area. I told them the issue and how un happy I was with the other shop. The put it on the rack and come to find out the wheel hub assembly on drivers side was bad. This was replaced realligned and rides 100 times better. Still curious why other place couldn't figure that out.

It's all about the tech doing the work. I find generic places like NTB or discount tire hit or miss for installing, aligning, etc. Glad you got your car riding better!

Took my car over to Southwest Alignment on Friday and Greg did a great job on my 4 wheel alignment. The factory settings were way off. Just installed new Michelin Pilot Sport 2's on there and want to get the maximum tire life I can on those babies.
What a difference in ride, noise reduction, and traction.
My car is lowered and with ground effects, so not an easy car to get on a lift to align but Greg knows what he is doing. Had no issues with dragging anything thanks to his board ramps.
