Don't feel bad. I've got a set of them sitting around in my house hoping to go 9's with on the stock block/tranny/suspension in the next year. No need to feel bad because you don't want to pay a $1000 corvette tax. Shawn, in this thread, has the bolt on ls2 record with headers like we have. They have been proven on dynos to be less than 5hp under the curve and even less where it matters.

You mean to tell me not one Corvette/LSX owner in the Houston area is willing to help me out one afternoon and Ill slide them a bill or two for the work? When I had a cobra, I purchased a fender roller($240), did a meet at some guys house 40 miles away, rolled 4 cars fenders (8 fenders total) all for beer and burgers. We had a blast and it was great hanging out with other speed junkies... If I knew how to install headers, I would help anyone here out especially if they were offering money!

I just moved down here and got some service done at Franks Vettes over in Spring. They seemed competent and fairly priced so I would see what they charge for the install.

If you need help one weekend or so shoot me a PM. I've never done the header install but have no problem helping out, I'm sure its not too difficult.
