Hope enveyone has a good week... Patrick at Quality Motorsports replaced my center front air dam.. It was bent and broke, restricting all airflow from the bottom.. Parts and labor were more than very fair!! Coolant temps are back to 195 degrees with a/c on and 30 minutes of hard driving! Wife and I and my Mom will be in Mexico for 8 days.. My liver is in great shape.. LOL!! Hopefully I won't need a liver transplant when we get back

Default Charity Event on May 15th

Everyone

My niece plays softball at Flower Mound High School. One of her team mates lost there father in a car accident. There will be a 'Car Meet' to help raise funds for the girls family she has seven siblings. I'm on call next week but I going to try and see if someone can cover me for a couple hours so I can go to this event.

This is the link on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/events/437241232953179/

Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 6:00pm until 9:00pm in PDT, 242 State Street, Southlake, Texas

A family at FMHS lost their father in a tragic car accidident. He made majority of the income for this family of 7. They need all the help they can get in this time of need.

This tuesday night we will be having a fundraiser at Five Guys guys in Southlake. Most of you should be familiar with the location as it's right by our usual sunday night meet spot, but the address has been tagged in the event just in case. Come out and give whatever you can, I'll have a bucket for cash donations and if you'd like to write a check then I will have info on who to address it too. Every little bit counts, so please come out and show your love for this amazing family.

I hope you guys don't mind me sharing this with the group.

Thanks,
Joe

What's funny is you hear the LS9 from inside the Ferrari and the ZR1 just keeps pulling away.

Anyone with a C5 Z06 should consider changing out there valve springs. I'm hearing 02-03 model years. I'm not 100% sure what years were effected though.

You don't want this...

Guys:

So I got the itch to remove my hood liner. I never much liked the look of it anyways. Seems to have cleaned up the look under my hood. I have seen other people do it and it looks like more of a "cleaner" look to me.

Its got a little bit of factory marking on it, but for the most part its really clean. Its a dull silver color. No clear coat on it for sure.

I like it !

Yes, looks great. Nice clean look. Mine goes into the shop next week for a few minor touch ups and they are quoting the cost to paint mine the same as the car

Guys:

So next weekend is the Lone Star Classic 2012 at Texas Motor Speedway.

If you have never gone before you really should. Its a HUGE Corvette event pulling in people from ALL over the states. The show happens underneath the grand stands of the straight stretch at the track. All the way between turns 4 and 1. Its all shaded and covered. We will park in the parking area just outside of the entrance.

http://www.lonestarcorvetteclub.com/Classic2012

I am going to go over for the show on Saturday. I was wondering if anyone wanted to cruise over with me. There are plenty of aftermarket vendors there. I need to stock up on my Zaino...

I was thinking of meeting at Jupiter/190 before 9:30am, and leaving at 9:30am sharp.

After we get finish looking at everything I thought we can hit a spot to eat on out trip back home...

Post up if your in !
